The Indonesian AID Program Structure
The scholarship program combines academic studies, cultural enrichment, and leadership training to prepare participants for global collaboration and community contribution.
Indonesian Language Training Program
An Indonesian Language (Bahasa) course is a compulsory for all Indonesian AID students as they will obtained BIPA Level 1 Certificate upon their study completion. The Bahasa course will be provided by each University or polytechnic.
Preparatory Program
Preparatory program (matriculation) prior to the academic program will be arranged in accordance with the university’s policy and planning program
Buddy Program
A buddy program is a mentoring session between students and their mentors, in academic and administrative area, aims to help students on accelerating their study progress as well as their adaptive ability.
Cross Cultural Program
The students will be exposed to first hand experience on Indonesian multicultural and multilingual activities during their studying period i.e. International Student Day
Academic Program
The scholarship disbursement is provided for a maximum duration of 4 semesters for the Master’s Degree program, 8 semesters for the Bachelor’s Degree program, 8 semesters for the Diploma program equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree, and 6 semesters for the regular Diploma program.

Duration
The duration of the Indonesian AID Scholarship is carefully structured to align with the requirements of each program, ensuring students have adequate time to complete their studies effectively.
Requirement
To be eligible for the Indonesian AID Scholarship, applicants must meet specific requirements designed to ensure they are well-prepared to succeed academically and contribute to their home countries after completing their studies.
- Officially nominated by the Government of the Priority State.
- Willing to return and serve in their home country for a minimum of 2 (two) years after completing the study.
- Willing to confirm that the applicant is not at pregnancy period at the time of scholarship application
- Possess citizenship status from the priority state.
- Not registered as an active military member.
- Not currently or will be undergoing military service until the end of the academic period.
- Preferably have a minimum of 2 years of work experience as a government employee in their country.
- If currently employed, the applicant must provide a letter of permission (consent) from their current supervisor.
- Have an active passport with a minimum validity of 18 months from the registration date.
- The maximum age is 25 years old (for D3) and 30 years old (for D4/S1) on 31 July of the current application year.
- Proficient in the use of the English language. For non-English speaking countries, it is mandatory to attach a TOEFL ITP certificate with a minimum score of 477 or IELTS with a minimum score of 5.5 (prediction tests such as englishtest.duolingo.com or others are allowed), the certificate must be obtained within the last 2 Years. This requirement does not apply to countries that use English as the medium of instruction or departments that use Indonesian as the medium of instruction.
- Hold a high school diploma.
- Provide a certificate of employment in the government sector or equivalent documents for those already working.
- Attach a letter/document confirming good conduct and/or a clear criminal record from the relevant local authorities.
- Willing to undergo a health test after being announced as having passed the TIAS Program selection. Physically and mentally healthy, as evidenced by a health certificate from a certified doctor.
- Officially nominated by the Government of the Priority State.
- Willing to return and serve in their home country for a minimum of 2 (two) years after completing the study.

- Proficient in the use of the English language. - Attach a letter/document confirming good conduct and/or a clear criminal record from the relevant local authorities.
- Willing to undergo a health test after being announced as having passed the TIAS Program selection. Physically and mentally healthy, as evidenced by a health certificate from a certified doctor.
- Officially nominated by the Government of the Priority State.
- Willing to return and serve in their home country for a minimum of 2 (two) years after completing the study.
- Possess citizenship status from the priority state.
- Not registered as an active military member.
- Willing to confirm that the applicant is not at pregnancy period at the time of scholarship application

- Provide a certificate of employment in the government sector or equivalent documents.
- Applicants must obtain a letter of recommendation from a prospective research supervisor at one of the universities administering the TIAS Scholarship.
- Applicants must submit a statement of purpose outlining their study objectives, the origin of their interest in studying in Indonesia and pursuing the selected research topic, as well as their future academic plans (dissertation proposal).
- Proficient in the use of the English language. For non-English speaking countries, it is mandatory to attach a TOEFL ITP certificate with a minimum score of 530 or IELTS with a minimum score of 6.0 (prediction tests such as englishtest.duolingo.com or others are allowed), the certificate must be obtained within the last 2 Years. This requirement does not apply to countries that use English as the medium of instruction or departments that use Indonesian as the medium of instruction.
- Applicants must submit legalized or officially recognized academic transcripts and a Master’s degree diploma (or equivalent), duly legalized or recognized by the Ministry of Education and/or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in their country of origin or country of residence.
- Do not yet possess a previous doctoral degree.
- All research activities under the doctoral program are required to be conducted in Indonesia.
- Attach a letter/document confirming good conduct and/or a clear criminal record from the relevant local authorities.
- Willing to undergo a health test after being announced as having passed the TIAS Program selection. Physically and mentally healthy, as evidenced by a health certificate from a certified doctor.
