The Indonesian AID Program Structure
The scholarship program combines academic studies, cultural enrichment, and leadership training to prepare participants for global collaboration and community contribution.
Indonesian Language Training Program
An Indonesian Language (Bahasa) course is a compulsory for all Indonesian AID students as they will obtained BIPA Level 1 Certificate upon their study completion. The Bahasa course will be provided by each University or polytechnic.
Preparatory Program
Preparatory program (matriculation) prior to the academic program will be arranged in accordance with the university’s policy and planning program
Buddy Program
A buddy program is a mentoring session between students and their mentors, in academic and administrative area, aims to help students on accelerating their study progress as well as their adaptive ability.
Cross Cultural Program
The students will be exposed to first hand experience on Indonesian multicultural and multilingual activities during their studying period i.e. International Student Day
Academic Program
The scholarship disbursement is provided for a maximum duration of 4 semesters for the Master’s Degree program, 8 semesters for the Bachelor’s Degree program, 8 semesters for the Diploma program equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree, and 6 semesters for the regular Diploma program.

Duration
The duration of the Indonesian AID Scholarship is carefully structured to align with the requirements of each program, ensuring students have adequate time to complete their studies effectively.
Requirement
To be eligible for the Indonesian AID Scholarship, applicants must meet specific requirements designed to ensure they are well-prepared to succeed academically and contribute to their home countries after completing their studies.
- Maximum age of 25 years as of July 31 in the year of application.
- For unmarried applicants, willingness to remain unmarried during the TIAS Program.
- A recommendation letter from an authorized institution in the government of the origin country stating that the prospective student will work in the government/public service sector after graduating and returning to the country of origin.
- Citizenship of a priority country.
- Health test document (stating that applicants are both physically and mentally healthy)
- Not registered as an active military member.
- Not currently undergoing or scheduled for mandatory military service until the completion of the study period.
- Preferably has at least 2 years of work experience as a government employee in their country.
- Preferably holds an active passport valid for at least 18 months from the date of application.
- Submission of a TOEFL ITP certificate with a minimum score of 477 or an IELTS certificate with a minimum score of 5.5 (prediction tests are allowed) for applicants from countries where English is not the primary language. Please note that applicants to Kelas Bahasa Indonesia are required to have English fluency as well.
- Submission of a high school certificate or its equivalent.
- Preferably provides a certificate of employment in the government sector or equivalent documentation for those who are employed.
- Preferably provides a certificate of good conduct and/or a document confirming no criminal record from the competent local authority.
- Willingness to undergo a health examination (if required) after being selected as a TIAS Program recipient.

- Maximum age of 30 years as of July 31 in the year of application.
- For unmarried applicants, willingness to remain unmarried during the TIAS Program.
